I'm inspired by the amount of strength, persistence, and resistance that people have despite what they are up against. There are many stories of resistance to colonialism but resistance to me means treating each other well and not being afraid to challenge the ways of thinking that divide us e.g. challenging racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism etc. I believe that as people we can move a lot farther ahead if we change the linear ways of thinking that work to divide us and we must see how we... With the stuff that TIG is doing, it makes it so easy for kids to find something that they’re passionate about, to help other people all over the world, to make the world a better place, and as a huge unbelievably great side effect of that, they’re going to feel better about themselves.
